The October member meeting will be held on Tuesday the 10th @ Selby Gardens in the Great Room starting at 6:30pm. See important information about parking and 2024 dues below.
Rob Kempinski, a longtime bonsai artist from Florida’s East Coast, will be our speaker this month, discussing the art of Shohin display. He asks for members to bring in Shohin trees (8 inches tall) so he can possibly use them in different display presentations and to spark conversation.
2024 Dues:
A reminder that Dues are due!! They can be paid either on our website (www.shofubonsai.org), or bring in check or cash to the meeting. Single membership is $45, a family of two is $55, and secondary (member of another club) is just $30. You are automatically members of the Bonsai Societies of Florida with your Sho Fu membership.
Parking :
Palm Avenue has been closed. You’ll need to enter the Selby south parking lot exactly where we’ve been exiting it for months. There will be a sign set out on Orange Avenue directing you into the driveway. Just remember to turn in where you have been exiting the lot all along.
