The Sho Fu member meeting for November will be held on Tuesday the 14th @ Selby Gardens in the Great Room starting at 6:30pm. See important information about parking and 2024 dues below.
New World Bonsai’s Andrew Giles will be teaching us the Art of Ebihara, which is a fascinating method for improving a tree’s nebari and radial root spread. He is the owner of New World Bonsai Nursery in Spring Hill and is a student of Boon.
Parking: The usual parking area at Selby is closed off this month. We will need to park in the Selby Overflow Lot on Orange Ave. and walk across. It’s about 300 yards, so keep that in mind if you’re thinking of bringing something to sell, etc. Dan from Selby will be there with his golf cart to help people who need it. This is the last month we will have parking issues because the new garage will be open for our January meeting.
A reminder that Dues are due!! They can be paid either on our website (www.shofubonsai.org), or bring in check or cash to the meeting. Single membership is $45, a family of two is $55, and secondary (member of another club) is just $30. You are automatically members of the Bonsai Societies of Florida with your Sho Fu membership.
