Sho Fu wins first place at BSF convention. Sho Fu members competed at Club Night creating a windswept buttonwood forest.
At the 2022 BSF convention in Orlando, Club Night was held where BSF member clubs compete against each other developing a specific bonsai style. At the conclusion of the event, each club’s creation is donated and auctioned off to convention participants to raise money for BSF. This year’s style was a forest planting. Sho Fu members, Tom Friend, Chris Cosenza, Beth Schmidt, Al Schmidt, Ramon Alba, Miriam Alba, Troy Torman and Frank Pucino participated in the event creating a buttonwood windswept forest wining first price.
